Gresham High School Aquatic Sports
For all incoming freshman, new students or even returning students... Gresham High School offers water polo and swim team! Maybe you did swim lessons, maybe you did a few years of youth swim club, maybe you've only been to recreation swim or maybe you have zero swimming experience at all... doesn't matter, you're still welcome to join the team. No experience is required for either sport, see the details below!
Water Polo
Gresham Water Polo is a fall sport. The season runs Aug 18-Nov 15. Practices begin Aug 18 and are held at Gresham High School. Are you just seeing this information? It's not too late to join! Water Polo is a no cut sport, the more the merrier! No swimming or water polo experience is required. Want to try water polo? Here are the steps...
1) Complete your sports physical. Forms are on this webpage.
2) Sign Up through the Gresham Athletic Department.
3) Contact Coach Ashley to get the practice schedule and team info.
4) Jump in the Pool!

Swim Team
Gresham Swim Team is a winter sport. The season runs Nov 17-Feb 21. Practices will begin November 17 after school. Swimming is a no cut sport, the more the merrier so bring yourself and friends! No experience is required, coaches teach you everything you need to know! Here are the steps to join...

This is for all middle school and high school ages (6th grade - 12th grade). To register, email Coach Ashley.

This is open to all schools, all districts, home schoolers, online schoolers, etc.... the more the merrier!
(Note it is NOT limited to Gresham HS students or those within the GBSD boundaries, all are welcome).
Swim Lessons
Currently, we do not have private or group lesson options available.
We anticipate being able to offer private lessons during winter break and/or spring session at one of our pools (Barlow or Gresham).
All swim lesson information will be posted as it's scheduled; on website, social media and sent through the district Peach Jar as well as our pool email list.
Recreation Swim
We do not offer a regular recreation swim schedule during the school year. At times we may offer POP-UP Recreation Swims during winter break, spring break or random weekends during the school year.
IF any POP-UPs are scheduled we will post information on our website, social media and send it out through district Peach Jar an our pool email list.
There will be a full recreation swim schedule for summer and will be posted when available.
Pool Rentals
Fall 2025: We are currently busy with high school sports and therefore we are not accepting rental requests for Gresham Pool at this time. Once we begin accepting rental requests again, we will post the request form and all the information on our website.

Parking is available in the small lot in front of our building (next to tennis courts). Additional parking is available along Main Street and in the annex lot just to the north of the tennis courts. Please abide by all parking signs to avoid tickets and towing, especially during school hours.
For all activities please enter the aquatic center through the main doors that are located off our parking lot.
