Gresham-Barlow School District's Commitment to Career Technical Education
The Gresham-Barlow School District is committed to creating high quality pathways from education to the workforce. All Career-Technical Education (CTE) Programs in this school district are accessible to all students. Integrated Media Program Overview
Gresham High School's Integrated Media Program provides students with a variety of skills and knowledge related to graphic design. Students explore the design process using industry standard software, receive training in design and layout, digital illustration, image manipulation and computer graphics. This program provides a valuable foundation for future careers in design, digital photography, electronic imaging and desktop publishing.
A '96 Gresham Gopher graduate, Brad earned a BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in Marketing in 2000 from Oregon State University. After working at Nike and a small firm in Portland, Brad went back to school and earned his MAT from George Fox University. Coming home to Gresham, Brad began his teaching career at Gresham in 2003. Currently the CTE and FAPA Department Chair, Brad teaches Graphic Design, Photography and Yearbook. He oversaw the yearbook program from 2006-2020. Under his direction, Gresham earned national recognition through CSPA and NSPA as one of the top yearbooks in the country, including Best in Show at the 2020 National NSPA Convention. In 2017, Brad was honored by the Northwest Scholastic Press Association as the Mary Hartman Oregon Journalism Teacher of the Year. Outside the classroom, he coached wrestling from 2002-2020, and has been an assistant volleyball coach since 2011.
